TransPerfect, a provider of translation services and technology, and Astoria Software, a provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS)/on-demand component content management software, said that they have completed a merger.
San Francisco-based Astoria Software will join the TransPerfect family of companies and will continue to be led by current CEO Michael Rosinski.
The combination will enhance customer experience for a client base that is interested in achieving the maximum time- and cost-efficiencies in the authoring, translation, and publishing of global content, the companies said.
The companies said that the key client benefit of the merger will be the integration of the companies’ complementary technologies. TransPerfect develops and markets a family of globalisation management system software products, known as GlobalLink.
Phil Shawe Co-CEO of TransPerfect, said: Following a partnership which was announced last November, we’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Michael Rosinski and his management team. Both companies share an unwavering commitment to providing innovative offerings to customers with complex content requirements.
“The cultural fit between Astoria and TransPerfect couldn’t be more aligned. The integration of our GlobalLink products with Astoria’s offering provides clients with a seamless end-to-end offer for managing global documentation at the enterprise level.”
