TRANSADATA TO FINAL MANUFACTURING AND SELL WYSE PRODUCTS

Wyse Technology Inc, San Jose, California has signed Transdata of Mexico City to complete final manufacturing of Wyse products in Mexico and sell them to distributors and OEM customers in Mexico and Latin America, making some 10,000 terminals and computers, worth $7m, a year: the deal is the first time Wyse, which has manufacturing facilities in Taiwan and Hong Kong, has contracted with a third party to produce its products, and says it did so this time to to grow its market share of micros and terminals in Central and South America.
