TRAGIC DEATHS AT SUMITOMO

When Brits are employed by Japanese companies, they tend to become more Japanese than the Japanese, delighting their employers by outperforming the folks back home and coming up with ideas that can be transplanted back to Japan, but it seems that Americans employed by Japanese companies remain resolutely American: according to Associated Press, a recently fired employee walked into the Sumitomo Electric Fiber Optics Corp plant in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina on Wednesday and opened fire, killing two people and wounding two others; the suspect was later found dead.
