The alliance enables both firms’ clients to tap directly into Merrill Lynch’s entire suite of algorithm-based custom trading strategies- such as Block Seeker and also gain access to Merrill’s smart order routing strategies. Clients can now route North American and European securities and US equity options through RealTick and execute trades using Merrill Lynch’s sophisticated smart order functionality to fully control and manage their global trading, lessen the market impact of a trade, and preserve anonymity.
