Digital Guardian will be used to safeguard corporate data on Toshiba’s corporate network, laptops, PCs and servers through monitoring and preventing confidential data from being misused by automatically enforcing established business policies.
The manufacturer wanted a product to manage and guard the use and flow of its proprietary corporate information, specifically involving its product concepts and designs.
Verdasys said that its customers, which include government agencies and companies operating in various industries, use Digital Guardian for comprehensive data loss prevention and corporate compliance. The platform creates a secure virtual perimeter that assures data is controlled by policy and monitored for accountability. It integrates content, context and location awareness, along with encryption and data level controls to reduce the risk of information loss or misuse.
