TOSHIBA & MITSUBISHI LOSE ORDERS AFTER RACKETEEING SCANDAL

Two leading Japanese companies – Toshiba Corp and Mitsubishi Electric Corp – have lost orders from local government after executives were arrested on suspicion of making illegal payments to corporate racketeers. While analysts say it’s too early to assess the financial impact, they believe the firm’s reputations have been damaged and it has distracted them from business strategies.
