Toshiba has expanded its netbook line up with the launch of two new 10.1-inch netbooks Mini NB300 and NB305, which it claims to offer enhanced battery life, slimmer design and new processors.
The company said that the new Mini NB300/NB305 comes with Windows 7 Starter or Windows XP Home operating systems and features a 6-cell battery enabling the netbook to run for up to 11hrs.
According to Toshiba, the new netbooks feature 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor; full size keyboards; multi-touch capability; 250GB HDD of storage space; wireless connectivity; integrated Wi-Fi connectivity and bluetooth 2.1.
In addition, the new netbooks also feature integrated 3D impact sensor that detects freefalls, shocks and vibrations to protect all the data saved on the hard disk; sleep-and-charge that allows external USB devices to charge even when it is turned off; and LifeSpace that provides a way to find and access stored files from the desktop through the ReelTime feature.
Toshiba said that its new NB305 comes in Mocha Brown and Snow White colour schemes featuring a matt-finish textured cover and contemporary tiled keyboard and NB300 comes in Cosmic Black featuring a glossy finish, decorated with a diagonal striped pattern, black flat keyboard and black palm rest.
