TOSHIBA HAS VALUE-ADDED RESELLER AGREEMENT WITH MITSUBISHI SHOJI

Good news for Toshiba Corp’s hot 80286-based J3100 laptop (T3100 outside Japan): Toshiba has signed a value-added reseller agreement with Mitsubishi Shoji for the box and the latter intends to rewrite IBM 5550 programs for the laptop, bundle them with it, and sell the results in Japan, reports the Newsbytes newswire; and also out of Japan, Ashton-Tate is selling dBase III for the laptop at $1,675.
