Toshiba Corp has joined the growing band of companies offering optical disk electronic filing systems: Toshiba’s Tosfile 550 is a low-end system using 800Mb 5.25 disks, and costs $36,500 with processor, optical drive, scanner, printer and display, and offers 200 or 400 pixels per inch resolution; it supports Ethernetworking and IBM Personals.
