Meantime the folks at Toshiba Corp must be shaking in their socks now that the Japanese government has concluded that Toshiba Machine may have been illegally exporting to the Soviet Union since as long ago as 1974: with Toshiba facing a total two to five year ban on sale of all its products in the US for offenses committed since 1982, we confidently expect the US to react to the latest revelation by insisting that any citizen with a Toshiba product in his home or office must return it forthwith to the company and receive a mandatory refund.
