By CBR Staff Writer

Toshiba America is adding a second assembly line at its Irvine, California lap-top computer plant, doubling output of the T1100 and T1200 machines made there to 10,000 a month: the 80386-based T5100 is due to be added in January; the Japanese company is also said to be looking for a second plant in Orange County into which to move the T5100 and the 80286-based T3100.
