TOSHIBA AFTER THE SOVIET EXPORT SCANDAL

Toshiba Corp has been totting up the damage done to its business by the Toshiba Machine Soviet export scandal, and reckons that exclusion from US defence contracts alone will cost the company some $55m, according to international vice-president Keiichi Komiya.
