Toshiba has introduced its new range laptops designed for business professionals, the Portege R830, Tecra R840, and Tecra 850.
The Portege R830 starts at 3.1 pounds and features an integrated DVD drive.
The R830 laptop runs on Intel Core i7 processor and one can either go for a 7200 rpm hard drive or 128GB solid state drive (SSD). The laptop is also available in the 5400 rpm option and i3 and i5 processor options. It works with Windows 7 Professional.
The Tecra R840 features a 14-inch HD LED display. It starts at 4.2 pounds.
The R840 laptop is available with Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 processors, apart from the optional 1GB AMD Radeon discrete graphics. For the hard drive, one can either go for a 7200rpm hard drive or SSD.
The Tecra R850 has a 15.6-inch widescreen display and 10-key numeric pad. It starts at 5.3 pounds.

The Tecra 850 is available with Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 processors and has the optional dedicated AMD Radeon 6450M graphics with 1GB of memory. It can be configured with either a 7200rpm drive or SSD.
All the three products measure about 1-inch in thickness. The R830 is available starting at $1,049, while the Tecra R840 starts at $899 and the R850 starts at $879.
