Toshiba has made available its slim AT200 tablet in the UK.

Known as the Excite X10 in the US, the tablet runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb, weighs 535g and is 7.7mm thick.

Supposed to be the thinnest tablet in the world, it sports a10.1-inch touchscreen with a 1,280 x 800 resolution, a 1.2 GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor and 1GB of RAM, besides a 5MP camera on the rear and a 2MP camera on the front.

Among its other specifications are a micro-USB port, a microSD card slot and a micro-HDMI port for connecting to a HDTV.
