TORUS SYSTEMS LAUNCHES TAPESTRY 6-PACK

Cambridge-based Torus Systems Ltd yesterday launched Tapestry 6 Pack, a networking package aimed at the small business market; the pack is a specially adapted version of the Tapestry networking software originally launched three years ago and will run on MSDOS micros and PS/2 using a Torus Ethernet adaptor: priced at UKP495, the software provides the same facilities as Tapestry for up to six users including resource sharing, file and record locking and electronic mail; the Ethernet adaptor is UKP395 for the standard bus version and UKP595 for the Micro Channel version; the system will be distributed by DDL.
