UK workstation manufacturer Torch Computers Ltd of Cambridge continues its re-emergence as an OEM supplier with a contract from the Integrated Solutions Inc, San Jose, California subsidiary of Boulder, Colorado-based office systems specialist NBI Inc. The contract is for the Torch VME32QX single board Unix computer. Integrated Solutions has bought manufacturing and distribution rights for the machine throughout the US, but will not give any further details of the agreement; it expects to start delivering the product some time this summer. Torch says that it has no more deals of this kind in the US but adds that others are in the pipeline elsewhere.
