TORCH COMPUTERS ENTERS DESKTOP PUBLISHING MARKET WITH SOFTQUAD SOFTWARE FROM UNIXSYS (UK)

Torch Computers Ltd of Cambridge has entered the desktop publishing market with SoftQuad publishing software supplied by Unixsys (UK) Ltd of Warrington, Cheshire: Torch’s publishing system comprises a Torch Triple X workstation, SoftQuad and the CrystalWriter Plus word processing package – prices start at around UKP11,500 for the software with a 68010-based Triple X with 2Mb RAM, a 40Mb Winchester and a high resolution monitor.
