The deal will see Transaction Network Services (TNS) offer its wide area network (WAN) services in an effort to combine CF Global Trading’s IT onto an IP-based platform. It is hoped this will support the firm’s trading infrastructure, including email traffic.
CF Global Trading currently uses TNS’ Secure Trading Extranet to submit indications-of-interest, execute trades and perform transactions.
Scott Chace, managing partner at CF Global Trading, explained: By consolidating our systems onto IP and our intra and extranet with TNS we are maximizing efficiencies across our offices and strengthening our global operations.
CF Global Trading was established in 2000 and provides an outsourced trading desk service for hedge funds.
