T-Mobile has unveiled myTouch 3G Slide, which features 3.4-inch HVGA touch-screen display, a roomy slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 5-megapixel camera and is powered by Android 2.1 software.

Designed by HTC exclusively for T-Mobile, the myTouch 3G Slide which is less than 15mm thick features a music player with a pre-installed 8GB microSD memory card, and enhanced video capabilities for users to record and share pictures and videos, whether via e-mail, MMS or one-click upload to sites such as YouTube and Picasa.

According to T-Mobile, the myTouch 3G Slide features include, Faves Gallery that presents different ways to communicate with others through calls, texts, e-mail, instant messaging and social networking updates; and myModes that allows users to create different themes with home screen apps, widgets and wallpapers. Users can set myModes to switch at a designated time, by location, or manually with the option to create and store up to 10 customised modes.

In addition, the new 3G Slide also features Genius Button that enables the use of voice commands to control the phone and it’s features including making calls, composing and sending texts and e-mails, searching the web or your surroundings.
