The new Mobileworker service from Tiscali UK is managed through client-side software that offers a list of secured Tiscali or approved third-party access options ranging from dial-up, broadband, Ethernet connection cellular access, or wireless/Wi-Fi services.
Preset security policies are automatically enforced and the service prescribes the appropriate use of anti-virus, personal firewall, IPSec VPN encryption, and monitoring software. The service is being launched in partnership with Fiberlink Communications Corp, a managed security services company.
