TIMES MIRROR PRIVATE EQUITY INVESTMENT IN DIGITAL PICTURES

Los Angeles-based Times Mirror Inc has made a private equity investment in – and is funding a series of joint ventures with Digital Pictures Inc, a San Mateo, California-based company that sells CD-ROM entertainment products; the two firms will work together on a range of products, including interactive television programming for cable.
