Time Warner Inc is becoming a cellular reseller and plans to launch a national mobile telephone service brand, leasing spare capacity cheaply from owners of cellular and other wireless licences: the company is making its first foray in Rochester, New York, where it is the local cable supplier, and plans to roll out the service across the country in the next couple of years in each of its cable market clusters – the main ones are in New York City, central Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Houston and Honolulu; it also plans to offer one-stop shopping for cable, wireline and cellular telephony to subscribers.
