Its focus in 2004 will remain on smaller deals, particularly in the Telecoms and Media unit, while it refuses to get drawn into a large-scale Nordic merger despite the considerable amount of consolidation outside the region.

It predicts its earnings, before interest, tax and amortization, will be between E130 million ($151.3 million) and E140 million ($163 million), compared to E130 million ($151.3 million) in the previous year.
