Ticketmaster Group Inc has introduced a kind of electronic preliminary injunction in its spat with Microsoft Corp. It is re-routing users that click on the Ticketmaster link on Microsoft’s Seattle Sidewalk page to a page that informs them of Microsoft’s heinous crime and that Redmond is trying to capitalize on a relationship that doesn’t exist. It also explains that it’s an unauthorized link and they should go direct to tickermaster.com. Mind you, just how many people are going to care about a company with the monopoly on concert tickets in most cities and the accompanying high premiums we’re not sure. But Paul Allen, founder of Ticketmaster and co-founder of Microsoft is sure to be one of them.
