With this agreement, TIBCO Software continues to provide the portal and integration technologies that create the foundation for the Corporate Yahoo! portal software, Yahoo! PortalBuilder. TIBCO will also have the capability to reference-sell the Corporate Yahoo! software directly to its customer base, thus allowing customers to benefit from the combination of TIBCO and Yahoo! technologies and solutions. In addition, Yahoo! and its distributors will now resell the TIBCO PortalPack product line of easy to use application integration solutions.
TIBCO ActivePortal brings together e-business systems into an easy to use portal interface, resulting in increased user awareness, productivity and self-servicing, and reduced demands on departments across the company. TIBCO PortalPack software extends the functionality of the portal platform by allowing quick integration of enterprise applications, such as HR, ERP, CRM and e-mail, with third-party content, news feeds and interactive services, resulting in portals that yield an immediate return on investment.
