The company claims that the new release provides lower microsecond latency and improves manageability. It also features self-managing protocols, centralized management, 24×7 usage, and increased throughput with additional support for more InfiniBand and 10 Gigabit Ethernet vendors. It also enables Tibco Rendezvous Server In-Process Module Add-on to embed daemon functionality directly into applications for additional microsecond savings.

The company has tested Rendezvous 8.0 with Cisco’s DAL software and Voltaire’s Grid Director to ensure compatibility and low latency. Tibco also collaborated with operating system vendors to reduce overall end-to-end latency, including testing and releasing concurrently with SUSE Linux Enterprise Real Time 10 from Novell.

In July 2007, Tibco released business process management software for its enterprise customers, the iProcess 10.6.
