Threshers raises glasses to Atos Origin’s BPO Payroll service

IT services provider Atos Origin has announced that it has extended its contract with drinks retailer Threshers to provide payroll services for a further three years.

By CBR Staff Writer

The Atos system aims to ensure Threshers’ 9,000 employees are paid accurately and on time. According to the company, the original six-year contract produced efficiencies in excess of 50%.

Under the terms of the deal, Atos manages the rollout of an integrated web-based self-service system to around 200 former Unwin stores acquired by Threshers. The system enables workers to enter new starter details and timesheets via the web and contains enquiries facilities for payslips and salary details.

Rosemary Alexander, financial accounting director at Thresher Group, said: From the beginning of our outsourcing relationship, Atos Origin has delivered efficient payroll functions with proactive help and support to specifically meet Thresher Group’s complex requirements. Paying our employees correctly and on-time is of utmost important and we have every confidence that by working with Atos Origin, we can continue to provide an excellent payroll service to our employees.
