Thinxtream partners with SaaS to create new offering

Thinxtream chooses Corent's SurPaaS to enable, operate and manage a new channel-ready SaaS business

Thinxtream Technologies, a global software company offering products and services for media, print and device management applications, has partnered with SaaS enablement software solutions provider, Corent Technology, to introduce a new SaaS offering.

The companies say SurPaaS is the first ever SaaS-Enablement Software Platform with a complete operations and management capabilities built for SaaS providers.

Corent EVP of engineering, Shafi Syed, said: "With SurPaaS in place, a software company can quickly and easily move to a SaaS business model, and be assured they will have all of the capabilities they need to run their SaaS business, efficiently and cost effectively."

"We wanted ready access to a global audience at a very economical price point, and delivering our offerings in a SaaS model certainly allows us to fulfill those goals," said Anil Thakkar, director of product management at Thinxtream. "However, we realised that there are a number of issues that companies need to deal with when they decide to become a SaaS provider; such as customer provisioning, subscription management and billing services. We found Corent and their SurPaaS platform to be a good fit for our needs."

SurPaaS is designed to reduce SaaS operations and management complexity for software companies who want to transition to a SaaS delivery model, without getting bogged down in the details of how to get there. SurPaaS includes all of the core functionality needed to run a SaaS business: tenant self-provisioning, configurable subscription management, built-in connectors to popular billing services, revenue performance tracking, application performance monitoring, and more.

SurPaaS aims to provide seamless enabling of multi-tier channel and distribution ecosystems. SaaS vendors can offer their VARs and channel partners a ‘white label’ version of their service and have its partners sell it under their own brand, with their own particular solution configurations, such as aligned with the industries and markets they serve, without the burden of re-hosting and managing separate instances of the application.
