Think New Ideas Inc, the Los Angeles, California-based internet and intranet systems developer, is breaking into Europe as a result of the acquisition of two subsidiaries of Ubicoms, a US holding. The Ubicoms companies are San Francisco-based Red Dot Interactive and the UK company Netcoms. Both companies offer e-commerce consulting and boast a range of blue chip clients for their internet systems. In Europe, Netcom clients include Hewlett-Packard, Oracle and Acer computer. And Think New Ideas sees it as vital to its plans to expand in Europe and Asia. Terms of the deal are a minimum of $6.5m in Think Stock though the figure could rise as high as $17.5m dependant on financial performance.
