Under the terms of the agreement, VFA is providing detailed assessments of the condition of approximately 200 facilities. The university will also license VFA.facility software to support ongoing facilities capital planning. VFA.facility will enable the university to maintain detailed information about building conditions and to accurately forecast maintenance and renewal requirements.

Jerry Kokos, president and CEO of VFA, said: VFA has a long track record of helping higher education institutions to ensure that each dollar they spend to renew and maintain their campus is in support of their long-term goals and objectives. The University at Buffalo’s selection of VFA demonstrates its recognition of the strategic role facilities play in promoting academic excellence and advancing its mission to be a leader and innovator among public universities.
