The UK Ministry of Defence has selected the V286A from Datatronic AB’s Victor Technologies for inclusion in its Catalogue of Office Machinery through a contract awarded to computer supplier ORAC Information Systems Ltd (someone out there used to watch Blakes 7 on BBC TV): the V286A system comes with a 30Mb fixed disk, a 1.2Mb floppy drive, a 1Mb 10MHz 80286 processor, and six expansion slots; all of the Ministry’s purchases of the V286A will be made through ORAC.
