Following its devastating announcement last Friday of its rapidly deteriorating financial condition (CI No 1,147), the top two at Rodime Plc have quit: Control Data Corp vet Thomas Kamp, now chairman of disk drive repair company Premier Computer Corp – it fixes Rodime disks – succeeds Len Brownlow as chairman, and Peter Bailey, also formerly with CDC, has been appointed managing director in place of Mervyn Brown; the company has also hired Noble Grossart Ltd as an additional financial advisor to review the options available with an emphasis on seeking to effect a rationalisation of the company’s operations and its financial structure; and Bank of Scotland has also agreed to allow a temporary hike in Rodime’s overdraft facility.
