THE SANYO SOGO BANK CHANGES NAME TO – THE TOMATO BANK

No doubt it’ll buy all its hardware from Apple Computer Inc and Apricot Computers Plc and its reps will drive around in Datsun Cherries: the Sanyo Sogo Bank, reports the Financial Times, has been casting about for a less boring name, and, wanting something with connotations of being cute, beautiful, not expensive, delicious, ordinary and straightforward, has decided to rechristen itself The Tomato Bank.
