The IBM Convertible lap-top is knocked for six by the Amstrad PPCs announced yesterday (see front), but the company insists that despite the bankrupt stock price of just UKP500 being charged for the thing by Morse Computers Ltd (CI No 798), the machine is not being discontinued, and the price to UK dealers remains set at UKP1,218.
