With a 3.5% turn on the new shares in Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp, it is just about worthwhile big holders ditching their current shares in favour of the new ones, and that seems to be exactly what some were doing last week: the NTT share price shed Y20,000 to hit Y1.95m, its lowest price since the firm was floated, but still Y50.000 above the price on the new shares.
