The Learning Co, Cambridge, Massachusetts-based educational software house once known as Softkey International Inc, has acquired Creative Wonders LLC for $40m, including cash and the assumption of employee stock options. Creative Wonders, which has revenues of $22m and expects $30m in fiscal 1998, is currently owned by ABC Inc, a subsidiary of Walt Disney Co and Electronic Arts Inc. It publishes software versions of children’s television such as Sesame Street.
