THE KINGLINE TELEPOINT – NEW SERVICE FROM KINGSTON COMMUNICATIONS

By CBR Staff Writer

Hull-based Kingston Communications Plc, joint applicant with Plessey Co Plc for a UK Department of Trade & Industry licence to operate a nationwide Telepoint cordless phone network, has now chosen a name for its proposed service – Kingline Telepoint: Kingline is already the name given by Kingston Communications to a number of products and services sold in Hull; if it gets a licence, Kingline Telepoint is hoping to start service in June 1989.
