The company is planning to integrate the xPression content publishing software from Document Sciences with its Claims 3.0 platform, an end-to-end claims product that aims to allow insurers to deploy a claims management application that supports the entire lifecycle of a claim.

The enhanced technology comes as IT firm Accenture reports that consumers are frustrated with the length of time and lack of communication involved in the claim process.

Integrating these two proven products means that our customers will be more competitive and profitable through improved response times and provide faster and more efficient claims handling, which benefits customer retention as well as the bottom line, said Jeffrey Bilbrey, vice president, product management – claims for The Innovation Group.

xPression is designed to automate the design, creation and production of business communications in real-time and high volume batch. It enables users to generate customized quotes, compliant policies, proposals, contracts, correspondence and marketing fulfillment by print, e-mail and the web.
