THE IBM PS/2 MODEL 35 WILL NOT HAVE AN AT-BUS

By CBR Staff Writer

Seems that from what IBM told the New York Times, the so-called PS/2 Model 35 (CI No 997) will not have an AT bus, which implies that it will be most like the almost forgotten XT/286 machine, which had an XT rather than an AT bus: the difference is that the AT bus takes most XT boards, but is also able to handle data 16 bits at a time as well as the 8 bits of the XT bus.
