Ah, the horrors of new technology, and there but for the grace of God, etc… An Editor’s Note in yesterday’s Trib declares An article published on Page 1 of Wednesday’s International Herald Tribune under the headline ‘Senate Unit Warns of Defeat for Iraq’ was in fact the same article that appeared in the newspaper last October 20… this error (was) caused by a computer misfunction and subsequent lapse in the editorial process… the article does not reflect a new evaluation of the Iran-Iraq war by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
