THE HAMILTON GROUP HOPES FOR CONFERNCE WITH CASSONI

By CBR Staff Writer

The Hamilton Group, as the Unix vendors objecting to AT&T and Sun’s relationship have been dubbed after the site of its first meeting, is hoping for a conference with Vittorio Cassoni some time before Uniforum, which starts on February 8: the 16 companies that signed the letter to AT&T are Apollo, Apple, Data General, DEC, Gould, Hewlett-Packard, Honeywell Bull, Intergraph, Integrated Solutions, MIPS, NCR, Prime, Silicon Graphics, Tandem, Unisoft and Unisys; the group says that another 15 or so firms are interested in keeping in touch with any future developments.
