The impending divorce of Hayes Microcomputer Products founders Dennis and Melita Hayes is turning out to be an extremely messy business with, reports Newsbytes, gory details of the action all over the Atlanta Constitution newspaper: Mrs Hayes wants custody of half the modem company at market value, which would mean it would have to go public at a very unfavourable time, Mr Hayes wants it split based on book value, keeping it private.
