TEXAS UNVEIL POWERPRO POSTSCRIPT PRINTER

From its Temple, Texas base, Texas Instruments Inc unveiled its microLaser PowerPro 600 dots-per-inch, 12 page-per-minute PostScript printer: driven by an unidentified 25MHz RISC processor with 16Kb cache, it comes standard with 67 Adobe PostScript fonts, PCL 5 emulation, AppleTalk and high-speed parallel ports, 500-sheet paper capacity, and 6Mb of memory expandable to 22Mb; it costs $1,660.
