TEXAS INSTRUMENTS COMPUTER PRODUCTS DIVISION TURNS 1985 LOSS TO 1986 PROFITS

Drastic measures at Texas Instruments’ Computer Products division are paying off, and the company says that a 1985 loss of $48m was turned into an operating profit of some $28m in 1986 – on turnover that declined about 7% to $931m.
