The new unit, called Terremark Federal Group (TFG), will be responsible for managing the firm’s existing US government contracts and directing its business development strategy for the federal integrator market.
Jamie Dos Santos, Terremark’s former Chief Marketing Officer, is expected to become the new group’s CEO.
By creating TFG, we are consolidating all our experiences with the federal market into a unified and more focused team to further exceed service expectations of our federal government customers and position ourselves for a larger share of the overall federal government market, commented Dos Santos.
Terremark provides internet exchange points to the public and private sectors in an effort to offer security, lower costs and increased efficiency.
