TerraNet Technologies Corp has announced that it has now achieved sales volumes of $1m per month in Russia. We are aiming for controlled growth in this market and it has been a very solid first year, says executive director Ron Lewin. TerraNet Technologies is distributor for D-Link X25 networking hardware and is effectively, although not officially, the sole AST Research Inc distributor in Russia. Lewin says the main demand has been for AST’s Premium range of servers rather than lower end models, and the brand brings in about $100,000 worth of business per month. Up until now the company has been selling equipment to Sberbank Moscow, Neftichimbank, Credobank, as well as the Ministry of Internal Affairs Moscow, as well as the Moscow office of Sumitomo Co.
