PC-over-IP (PCoIP) protocol developer Teradici has introduced its Remote Desktop Services Host (RDSH) application, delivering PCoIP capabilities to Microsoft Windows Server RDS environments.

The new application will enable IT managers who deploy both VMware View and RDS desktop environments with a steady performance, security and user experience across both types of desktop pools.

For IT managers with both VMware View and Microsoft RDS session desktop environments, Teradici RDSH offers PCoIP protocol support for Microsoft RDS session desktops with the benefits performance, security, and user experience.

IT managers can now manage both VMware View and RDS session desktops through VMware View Manager.

Teradici RDSH claims to deliver the benefits of high performing, secure and minimal management Teradici Zero Clients for RDS session desktops.

It also allows IT managers to use Teradici APEX 2800 PCoIP server offload card to provide Microsoft RDS desktop sessions with enhanced performance and scalability as currently offered in VMware View deployments.

Compatibility with Teradici based PCoIP Zero Clients and the APEX 2800 server offload card will be available with Teradici RDSH.
