TERADATA LAUNCHES UNISYS OS1100 INTERFACE

Teradata Corp of Los Angeles has launched the Unisys OS1100 Interface, a host software product that allows Unisys 1100 and 2200 Series mainframes running the OS1100 to link to Teradata’s DBC/1012 Data Base Computer via one or more FIPS-compliant Federal Information Processing Standards – block multiplex channels: support includes the Teradata Director Program, Basic Teradata Query query/reporting facility, and the Call Level Interface; support for Unisys’ Mapper software, Teradata DBC/1012 utilities, and language preprocessors are scheduled, the product will be available in the US in July, the price, including support is $2,000.
