Teo has released unified communications (UC) platform that offers a comprehensive UC suite across all device types.

The company claims that UC’s intuitive interface enables administrators to more efficiently manage their communications infrastructure. It decreases the risk of downtime and enables the end users to access a feature set from anywhere via a platform independent interface. UC’s enhanced mobility features enable workers to achieve complete on-premise communications capabilities while working offsite.

UC integrates core communications capabilities such as email, voicemail, voice-conferencing, desk phones, mobile phones, soft phones, IM, fax and call recording. In addition, it now integrates Enhanced 911 (E911) Emergency Awareness Solution, to provide emergency response capabilities via location pinpointing services and alerts.

Steve Hill, president of Teo, said: "Unlike other solutions on the market today, Teo UC truly lives up to its ‘unified’ claim: One server, one admin portal, one user interface. When building this solution, we considered the complexities commonly associated with UC platforms today and set out to drastically reduce these headaches.

"Teo UC not only provides the core communications functions every information worker needs today, it’s also extremely redundant, extremely easy to administer and it’s able to easily scale with an organisation as it grows."
