TELSTRA WANTS IN ON IBM SERVICES CO DOWN UNDER

IBM Australia Pty Ltd already has only 65% of its Integrated Systems Solutions Co in Australia, with Lend Lease Corp holding the rest, and now Australian state-owned telecommunications company Telstra Corp wants to muscle in on the party and take a minority equity stake in the facilities manager and systems integrator, the Australian Financial Review reported, suggesting that the carrier is in advanced negotiations with IBM to take a stake in the company.
